Frame The Flavor

About Frame The Flavor

Frame The Flavor is an automated DC-metro restaurant-news project. A scheduled pipeline reads public signals — license filings, permits, certificate-of-occupancy records, health-department new-establishment inspections, official restaurant and landlord social posts, press releases — and writes original short articles linking every claim back to its primary source.

How it works

  1. Ingest — public-records feeds and targeted web searches.
  2. Triage — Claude Haiku decides whether each lead is a real, novel, in-area restaurant event and which signals genuinely support it.
  3. Corroborate — nothing about a named business is drafted without ≥2 independent signals or ≥1 primary public record.
  4. Draft — Claude Sonnet writes an original short article from the corroborated signals. Sources from outside the lead are not allowed in.
  5. Review — a human reads every draft and approves, edits, or rejects it before anything publishes.
  6. Publish — approved articles land on this site with their source links and an AI-assisted disclosure.

What we won't do

We won't scrape and rewrite other publications' reporting. If another outlet covered a story first, that's their work. We follow the link to the primary record and cite that — or we sit the story out.

AI-assisted, human-reviewed.  Articles are drafted with Anthropic's Claude models from public-source signals, then approved by a human before publishing.
